As a stand-alone picture it's quite beautiful and has for me a "calendric" feel to it, which I guess sorta makes sense!

"Pocketful Of Sunshine"

Well it takes practice to blend gradients to get them to look like a glossy coating, but if you want help, search through the PSD's. There are a lot of orbs and spheres PSDs with glossy layers that you can open in PSP and paste onto your bubbles or whatever.
The other parts are using cut out tools and drop shadows can be the most important to giving a globe it's depth.
Open the PSD, it sometimes will say not valid in PSP but open it any way and click on and copy the glossy layer and paste it over a plain circle and you'll have a ball. No pun intended.
